I've been blessed greatly to be able to teach and help out with youth ministries over the years, it's something I really enjoy. These young people, especially nowadays, go through so much and are confronted by so much opposition to the Bible and the true gospel.
These are reasons that Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen A, especially, are suffering with such amounts of depression and anxiety. The world will always bring us down, and if we aren't founding our lives on the true gospel, we can be left with a watered down Christianity that won't be able to help carry us.
Wrong views of God and ourselves is a dangerous place to be in light of the difficulties we face nowadays.
This article from the Biblical Counseling Coalition touches on the idea of fake gospels and the effects they can have on our young people (by extension all of us). I hope it will be helpful to you and if you know of someone who may benefit from reading it, I'd encourage you to share it with them as well.
