Talking Too Much

Mountains reflecting in a lake

What do you write about, when you're not sure what to write about? You may have noticed but my desire is to try to blog quite often. But the reality is, there will be days where I'm not sure what to say. The beautiful thing about photography is that you don't have to use words.

I've noticed lately that, sometimes, I feel I talk a lot. Too much probably. Proverbs 10:19 says:

"When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable,

But he who restrains his lips is wise."

It reminds me of a meme that's made the rounds lately, talking about how the person reading Proverbs is realizing they have a lot in common with this 'fool' it keeps talking about.

I totally relate.

However, I don't intend on letting up on the writing. But I hope it will be helpful to those who read, not a hindrance. In the meantime though, I hope this picture will give you pause. Creation says so much, yet uses no words. May our actions speak louder than our words, in a positive way of course.

"Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard." - Psalm 19:2-3
