Spring-Forward

A clock in front of trees

Well it's that time of year again: the ever popular time change where we "Spring-forward."

In our modern-tech world the ability to arrive to church late and what-not is not as much of a problem, what with cell-phones automatically changing and all. Though, I imagine for many it still can be.

I wrote about how these times can be interruptions back in the fall when we go back to "normal time".

This time, I suppose I can just point out that time itself is a commodity, and one that we don't have a lot of.

And while it is true, the time change can mess some of us. Our sleep is disrupted, our bodies don't always adjust too quick. But we still have twenty-four hours in the day. That doesn't change just because we "move" the time forward or backward an hour.

And so as you prepare yourself in these kinds of evenings for the time change, maybe consider your prioritization of that time, not just for the night, but for the following day: the Lord's day.

And let these times be a time that we think about time, and how we can best use it.
