God of Wonders

Though I am someone who speaks an awful lot about creationism, I'm reminded of something this morning. I look at the stars, the sun and moon, the mountains, the ocean, animals, our very DNA, and see the wondrous work of God. But far too often I forget that God's greatest wonders, His most amazing miracles, are the works He does in us.
The very fact that God can and does save sinners like me is astounding. It is a far greater act of (re)creation than the planets in our universe. To raise a dead slave to sin to life is more amazing than even the birth of a child.
And yet He does it all the time and will continue until that day that Christ returns.
But beyond that, it's a wonder that He even uses any of us or sanctifies us; It's a miracle that He can take the mess of our lives and turn it into something beautiful. It's a comfort. I've made plenty of messes.
We are so often faithless, and yet He is faithful, always. He will build His church, and He will carry His people through until the day we are complete and glorified in Christ.
May this encourage us this day, our God of wonders.
