Friday Share: Meso-American History Revealed

Title logo for Friday share post, text in front of image of mountains with spring foliage, and white clouds above.

History was never a strong suit for me. Even to this day I struggle with a lot of simple dates for events. But as I get older I seem to be becoming more like my dad, who absolutely loves history.

Perhaps it's due to a Christian worldview. Well, I believe that is the case actually. And as Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson shows in this video (among many others that are well worth the viewing), a Biblical worldview actually helps us better understand history.

I've thought the Meso-American culture was interesting since I was young. Playing video games and 'exploring cultures' was fun, and I think injected a bit of curiosity in me for the ancient world.

But this isn't a game, nor is it fake history and stories, but reality based in Christian scientific research.

This video itself doesn't go into much detail, if anything I simply hope it whets your whistle.

I can't wait to see what comes of this, and if for some reason he would read this, Dr. Jeanson, if you need a photographer for some of this, let me know! I'm not sure how I'll get to South America, but hey, details...

Ok perhaps a little self serving. But either way, I hope you'll enjoy this look into the origins of Meso-American history.
