Easter and "Awkward" a Monday Post Share

Easter is a time many churches see a slight rise in attendance. Whether it's people who feel some form of duty or guilt, or perhaps even curiosity, or any number of reasons, they come to just this one Sunday, or perhaps a couple more through the year. I don't say this to mock then, just to point out that it is a reality.
When they come, they are confronted with difficult to understand things. A man rising from the dead? Now He is sitting at the right hand of God? What's all of this mean?
Scripture is filled with challenging concepts and doctrines, and it can be confusing to those outside of the church.
But we're challenged then to stay true to what it says and not water it down to make it more appealing.
This article from Ligonier deals with this idea and encourages us to do as the Apostles did; don't change Scripture just because it's hard.
As we now come to the time following Easter, and perhaps we've had conversations with family, friends, or even visitors to our churches, let us be prepared to answer this questions Biblically.
