Two thousand years ago, the world saw it's darkest day, the day that the Creator Himself was crucified by the hands if sinful men.
If that's how the story ended, it would mark the worst news conceivable.
But, it isn't where the story ends. As such, we have come to call this day good Friday. Though on one hand it was an atrocious act, hardly good; on the other, it accomplished the greatest work, God's plan of salvation.
So in light of that, here is a post share from Ligonier discussing the origins and meaning of the title "Good Friday."
I hope it will bless you as you look at the work Christ has done. The work to which He declared, "it is finished."
