The Everlasting Way

Given some extenuating circumstances, I'm going to keep this post very brief. I'll elaborate further in a future post but for the time being I am having to write this on my phone, which is much more difficult for a blog post than a laptop for me.
But I desire to share something with you tonight, and I will simply share this passage from Psalm 139:
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way." - Psalm 139:23-24
Anxious thoughts, oh I have my share of them. And being away on a trip doesn't mean they magically disappear. In some ways they become exasperated in fact.
Yet, God knows. As David acknowledges over and over in this Psalm, God knows all, is everywhere present, and all powerful.
These attributes of God are so wonderfully helpful, even in spite of my anxiety.
And even when we can't sort it all out, we do know that God is sovereign.
And may He lead us in that everlasting way.
